Constance L. Burtch was born on Thursday, September 4, 1952 to the union of the late Thomas Burtch and Alabelle Scott.  Constance was the youngest of three children, Thomas and Barbara Burtch.

Constance started her family early.  She married Raymond Green and they had three children; Raymond, Raychelle, and Aaron by the time she was 26.  Constance later divorced and continued to expand her family after having Derriah and Alonnah, completing her family of 5.

Constance loved to cook, sing, and dress up.  She was also very career driven.  She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Criminal Law from Point Park College.  She also obtained a Nursing Assistant Certification and a bartender license.  She loved working at the Black Beauty for over 10 years.  So, as you may see, she was very flexible and versatile when it came to work and education.

Constance had a heart of gold and a dynamic personality that would set you straight if need be.  Constance, more affectionately known as Connie to friends and family, picked up crocheting as a hobby.  She also, enjoyed shopping along with reading her bible faithfully.  Her favorite saying was "see you later, never say goodbye!"  Constance was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many.

Constance made her heavenly transition on April 12, 2023 in Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania.

Constance was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, sons Raymond L. Green Jr. and Raymond's son Jerrell Green; grandchild Alli Howell, and great-great grandchild Ricardo Johnson.

Constance leaves to cherish her memory; her beloved son Aaron Green (Erica); loving daughters Raychelle Green-Johnson (Lavelle), Derriah Tolbert-Brown (Delisha), and Alonnah Baker (Craig Howell); 22 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.  She will be eternally missed from all those who have been graced with her beautiful presence.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at West Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 2pm to 4pm and service beginning at 4pm. Interment will be private.
