Jodell Corrine Bedard. Born May 26,1955 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the beloved late Delores and Joseph Bedard. Jodell was called home to Glory on March 12, 2023.

Jodell received her education though the Pittsburgh Public School System and graduated from Schenley High School in 1973. She went on to attend Clarion State College, before entering the workforce, where she made a career at Xerox for over 20 years.

Jodell was the second youngest of seven siblings. She is proceeded in death by her 3 sisters, Marlene Thornton, Bernadine Martin, and Delberta Kimbrough. She is survived by her sister Yvonne Bedard and 2 brothers Thomas Thorton and Joseph Bedard. Jodell's joy in life were her children, Mark and Marquita Forbes, whom she had with the love of her life, Mark Forbes Sr. She is also survived by her Grandchildren, Amiyah, Mariah, and O'Shea, who brought her happiness and filled her pride. She joins her beloved her nieces Linda, Edwina, and Antoinette

Jodell enjoyed making people laugh. She was good spirited and truly fun-loving. She loved having a great time with family and friends, including her best friend, Kim Cross. Jodell loved the Lord, and she attended different Churches across the city throughout her life to profess that love. She loved traveling with family. Her spirit could light up any room; she will me be missed for her smile, her laugh, her sense of humor, and her ability to make you feel loved.

Jodell Bedard was a person who enjoyed life and tried to enjoy to the fullest. She energized those around her with her infectious love and laughter. In her life she loved and valued family more than anything and tried to live her life according to God's precepts.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023 at West Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 10am to 12pm. Service: 12pm. Interment will be private.
