Obituary

Lorriane Mangham, a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, aunt, friend, and devoted elder in the church, passed away on August 28, 2025, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was a woman of unwavering faith, fierce love, and boundless generosity—known by all who met her as someone who would give you the shirt off her back and preach the Word while doing it.

Lorriane shared a loving marriage of 26 years with her husband, Roscoe Mangham, until his passing on September 6, 2006. Their union was a testament to enduring love, mutual respect, and spiritual partnership. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, prayer, and unconditional support; a legacy that continues to shape their family.

Ordained as an Elder in the Power House Deliverance Churches in 2010, Lorriane lived her life as a passionate servant of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her devotion to her faith was not just spoken, it was lived daily through her compassion, her prayers, and her tireless efforts to uplift others. She often said she prayed for children whether they liked it or not, adding with a smile, "What's it going to hurt?"

For nearly 20 years, Lorriane worked as a child care provider, shaping and molding the lives of children and their families with wisdom, warmth, and prayer. Her kitchen was a sanctuary of comfort and joy. She was a phenomenal cook who nourished both body and soul of all who ate with her. And her laughter! It was contagious! She loved to laugh and made sure others did too.

Lorriane was the heart of her family, always striving to keep everyone together, whether they wanted to be or not. She was a loving mother to Lynell Mangham (LaShanda Mangham), Denita Hardy (Darren Hardy), and Yevette Wells. She is a cherished grandmother to 12 grandchildren. She leaves three living siblings to whom she was a caring sister Lynda (Niecy) Wilson, Arnett Sloan, and Ernest Tigney. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, extended family, church family and countless friends whose lives she touched deeply.

Lorriane Mangham's legacy is one of faith, family, and fierce love. She will be deeply missed, but we know her spirit lives on in every life she touched and in every prayer she whispered.
