Ray A. Boyd transitioned to eternal rest on Saturday, March 4, 2023. He leaves to cherish his  memories wife: Janet A. Peterson; son: Ray A. Boyd, Jr.; daughters: Raynell, Arayia, Loharre, and Asia Boyd; brothers: Emmitt and Jeffrey Boyd; sisters: Virginia Gales-Boyd, Lorraine Sewell-Boyd, and Evelyn Boyd; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023 4pm to 8pm at the West Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 11am at the West Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
