Renee Marie Wormsley Parker was born on July 27, 1948 in Horning, PA to the late Thomas E. Wormsley and Bessie E. Wormsley. She was one of eight siblings. Renee received her higher education and went on to pursue her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Throughout Renee's CNA career she worked at Norbert's Nursing Home, Baptist Homes Nursing Home and did private duty.

Renee was widowed. She was blessed with four children: Keith, Dionne, Kevin and Carla.

Renee enjoyed having cookouts with her family and friends. She liked playing spades and bid-whist. She also was a great player at Jeopardy. Renee also enjoyed sports and loved the Steelers and Pirates. Going to church with her mom set the foundation for Renee's close relationship with God.

Renee was known for her outspoken, feisty personality. She was also very lovable and intelligent. Renee was known by many and touched their lives, especially young lives, with her care. She babysat her grandchildren, granddaughter's children and their friend's children. Thus, receiving the nickname "NaeNae" from one of her nieces. The nickname everyone has since called her.

Renee transitioned to eternal rest on May 31st, 2024 at Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Thomas E. Wormsley and Bessie E. Wormsley; brother: Thomas "Primo" Wormsley, Jr.; sisters: Patricia Wormsley (Stephens) and Shirley Wormsley; and daughter: Dionne Parker.

She leaves to cherish her memories sons: Keith Wormsley (Vicki) and Kevin Parker; daughter: Carla Parker; granddaughters: Jamirra Parker, Taraya Thompson Downhour (Tyler); grandson: Sheron Stokes; great-grandchildren:Dior Ellis and Raechelle Downhour; brothers: Robert Wormsley (Terri), Kenneth Wormsley (Valerie), and Harry Wormsley; sister: Robin Wormsley; aunt: Ellen Gunter Massie; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Renee was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and cousin to her family and a friend to many.

Services will be held at West Funeral Home on June 15, 2024.
