Obituary

Steven Douglas Regan was born August 25, 1980, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Lori Regan Biglow and Steven Kenley.  He was preceded in death by his Grandmother Nell Regan, Grandfather William A. Regan, Sr., and Grandmother Joan Kenley. "Stevie" as he was affectionately called by many, was a proud 1997 graduate of Schenley High School. Upon graduation he received recognition for scholastic achievement from Duquesne University's Achiever's Club. It was during these high school years; Steve developed a love for music which continued throughout his studies at the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) where he majored in music with a minor in Business Administration.

As Stevie journeyed through life, he developed a fondness for the restaurant business and diligently worked and boasted of co-workers from Little Caesar's Pizza, Z-Best, and until his passing at Taco Bell on the North Side. Steve often shared with family and friends his love for his co-workers and how he enjoyed advancing in the food industry. He enjoyed walking and listening to music as he went to work on the North Side. His daily ritual was to walk from the Hill District, take the bus to the North Side always with a smile and a song.

From birth Steve was immersed in the church and was an active youth member at Grace Memorial Presbyterian Church. Here he was a member of the youth groups, youth choir, became an Eagle Scout with Troop 93 under the mentoring of his lifelong friend, Scoutmaster Robert "Bob" Lavelle. In later years, he evolved as a musician, he became a young church musician. Stevie loved playing on his keyboard, composing songs with lyrics as well as music arrangements. He enjoyed playing with local musicians and sharing his music.

Steve was dearly loved by so many family members and friends. His smile and laughter will forever remain in our hearts. Steve is survived by his mother Lori Regan Biglow and Stepfather Leslie Biglow of Pittsburgh, PA, his Father Steven Kenley of Detroit, Michigan, and a host of Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins.
